Coffee roasting is a craft which requires both dedication as well as experience and after two generations the Master Roaster at The Trading post has learnt a thing or two about how to make great coffee.

After setting up their first full in-house roastery, coffee bar and eatery in Ship St in Brighton in 2017, they have gone on to open in Lewes, Kensington Gardens and their latest outlet in Chichester. They also have The Roastery by Trading Post Coffee Roasters on Sydney Street in Brighton where they develop their blends and offer a full barista training facility for their customers.

All their coffee is hand roasted on site in small batches to ensure maximunm freshness and taste. Currently offering of five speciality roasted beans including a single origin Ethiopia Yirgacheffe as well as the equipment for making a home brew.

Open from 07h30 to 21h00 they offer a simple yet interesting breakfast, brunch and lite bite menu. Organic eggs poached or scrambled and locally sourced ingredients. The presentation is imaginative and creative.
